We are sorry for the underage people in The Dalles as the Windseeker is a bar and that means you cant go in to watch. We are having a hard time finding the promotion help we need to run a show in The Dalles. You guys are most important to us and we will work something out in time. Welcome back to hotboxed.com sorry about the downtime. We are switching servers now so we will be able to host large files like movie clips. If there is any more downtime for the site it wont be much more than a day. -- Thank you to the fans from The Dalles for showing up on the 29th at the Paris. We appreciate the support. Also the local fans and bands that made the show great. Downsize played an excellent show. As well as Spindrift, rocking it as usual. The Hell Candidates came close to blowing the place up but that's the risk you take for putting on a good show. Thanks to all of you guys. -- We also played the Satyricon on Friday. So thanks again to the Hell Candidates and also Anger Management. We look forward to playing there again soon.

I know this section is reserved for hotboxed news but a loyal hotboxed fan could use your help. My cousin Isaac Newman is in the hospital tonight fighting for his life. He suffers from a disease that makes it hard for his blood to clot. He is very sick and could really use your good energy to help him fight this sickness. Your prayers will not go unheard. hotboxed is currently working on new material. We are also going to be rehearsing with a local Portland DJ. Don't worry we aren't going to pull a Linkin Park. We are looking for an integration of samples in our live show. I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. -- The Hudson Productions movie “Monster” is almost done and it features some of our music. Go here for trailers and other news on the movie.

The first outdoor show this summer went very well. There were several talented bands there and we were honored to close out the night. The large tent the stage was under made me feel like I was at a carnival. So we all had a great time and I am sure we will be back one day. And Whose Blood is not a fucking Slayer song you retard. That was dedicated to you know who. All others please disregard the statement.

We are sorry to inform you that we had to cancel our show at the White Salmon Grange. The "man" has brought us down, and isn't allowing time off for the night. We are very sorry and we hope to get back up in that area real soon and make it up to everyone. - Tracking started today in the studio. Drums and guitars are now done. We start vocals and the mixing process tomorrow. We are doing 4 songs including new versions of Defiance, Who's Blood, and Something Else. Also a new song called Without. Look for them to be posted in the sounds section right here around the 19th of this month. I have also posted some new studio pics.

Interesting show at the Paris last night. Thanks to gudgen, leadface, and 2cent solution. I would also like to thank the beautiful people from The Dalles that made it, and our friends from syx for coming. It was an ok show even though we couldn't hear anything on stage. On to the studio for hotboxed. Cant wait to hear the demo when its finished. It should be considerably better than the old one.

Roseland show update: We have sold over 30 tickets for the show. That means we have met our requirement for playing. Our 20-minute time slot is unknown at the moment but we will know for sure on April 30th. I will post the time slot right here on this website after we find out. There still aren't any pics from the 13th show but I am sure I will get some soon.

The Roseland battle of the bands show has been confirmed as Saturday May 5th. The show starts at 12 noon and will end around midnight. At the end of the show they will announce the winner of the contest. We will not know our set time until April 30th. And we get to choose what time we want depending on how many tickets we sell. The band that sells the most tickets gets first pick at a time slot and so on. So we want to sell a bunch that way we wont get a shitty pick and end up playing at noon. The tickets are 12$ and you can get them at the show on Friday or from a band member. If you need help getting a ticket e-mail me at hot_boxed_band@hotmail.com. WE NEED AS MANY OF YOU AS WE CAN GET TO GO!!! This show will be judged on crowd response and you being there can make all the difference. The sound is going to be very good. This will be an unforgettable show. I am going to go ahead and make a rule, anyone that goes to this show gets SOMETHING. That's right something. Could be just a hug from me. News is as follows: We are doing a little show (or what have you) in The Dalles Friday the 13th of April. There is a Mudvayne show the same night so if you have to go I don't blame you. That's right fuckers I said you could go to the Mudvayne show. But there is a catch. If you go to the Mudvayne show you have to go to the talent show we are playing on may 5th. Its in the same place that Mudvayne is playing (The Roseland Theater) so you wont have problems finding it. This marks HB's first show in Portland. So all the regulars need to be there. Well anyways that's a long time from now so we don't need to talk about that one right yet. But don't think I wont be bringing it up again. Ok we love you all. Over and out

Ok so its been a long time since I have had anything to say. We are now looking into doing the re-recording at a studio called No Moving Parts This will be something that we want to do in the near future so we can start handing out demos everywhere. With your help we can make people to listen and hopefully get more shows for the band.

The New Years Show was great. Even after a few tech problems the real fans stayed for a good time. I saw many familiar faces in the front row. A thank you goes out to the people that have been to all our shows and supported us. Pictures from the show will be up soon.
